The brutal death metal band known as Taking the Head of Goliath has officially hired a second guitarist and a well-known musician. Miles Sunde, formerly of Crimson Thorn, has officially joined the band.
In 2015, Taking the Head of Goliath formed between vocalist Jake Martin, guitarist Nathan Sherman and former members Rob Blake and Matt Vangsgard. Throughout the band’s career, however, the band began accumulating former members of Crimson Thorn, starting with Luke Renno joining on bass and Steve Reishus joining on drums.
Currently, the band has been writing a new album, titled Futility of the Flesh, which will be Sunde’s debut appearance with the band. The album is set to be released through Rottweiler Records once finished.
