Progressive melodic metal band Images Of Eden have been going through a few challenges over the last year.
With factors out of their control, the band on their first ever European tour was cut short with headlining act W.A.S.P., and also the Heaven and Hell festival went sideways in Mexico as the band made national headlines, with the announcement of poor treatment from festival organizers towards themselves and other bands on the bill last month.
As soon as the dust started to settle, and with the recent news of the group being in the writing process for their next upcoming release, then came the shock announcement of the departure of guitarist Carlos Urquidi. It was revealed that he found it unacceptable that he wouldn’t be involved as a contributor for the band’s newest material.
Lead vocalist Gordon Tittsworth officially addressed fans earlier today with his sharing of the news that was also shared on their official Facebook page, and has announced that neither him or the rest of the band have any negative thoughts with the matter and wish Carlos the best for all future endeavors, as well as establishing the former member to always be a part of the Images Of Eden family.
