It always seems to me that metalcore keeps breathing and remains in the forefront of today’s sound, especially when it comes to alternative metal. I for one enjoy it, even though some may call me a traditionalist as I personally prefer the more old school or pre-millennial metal, however melodic and progressive metalcore still adds an element of interest for myself as a listener of new music.
