One of the most exciting bands from the United Kingdom in recent times, Coventry hard rock alternative band Rifferspock have been actively pushing their EP The Time Is Now since 2017 with their high-energy riffs, groove-driven dynamic, and incredible stage presence.
The loss of their lead vocalist Bradley Meakings in October last year hasn’t dampened the band’s resolve in moving forward with writing new material, performing in Switzerland in January of this year, and soon to perform in Heat 3 of Metal For The Masses which is a battle of the bands event to showcase at one of the U.K.’s major metal festivals, Bloodstock.
With their impressive songwriting, their standout track “Unity” has been released as a lyric video over the last few days in support of their current EP offering. The song is a mix of current rock trends with catchy grooves and a blistering guitar solo from upcoming guitar sensation Pierre Oppliger. Also, as the band explores the pop rock, progressive alternative aspects, it cuts to the radio-friendly field with uplifting lyrics to stand up against any diversity that might come our way to conquer and never to be divided but, to stand together in unity. Which quite frankly in this day and age is something we need to deeply listen to and take heed of the words written in this well-timed single.
