In 2023, the iconic band Precious Death revealed their return after a 24-year break, generating excitement among fans of this progressive metal group, which significantly influenced the metal scene during the 1990s.
Their 1993 album, Southpaw, became highly coveted following the release of the single “Force Fed,” which was a defining track for Christian metal as the genre transitioned into the grunge era of the nineties.
The band has recently unveiled their new self-titled single, “Red Moon Rising,” which is Part One of their upcoming double album set to be released on April 18th, 2025. Collaborating with Greg Reely, known for his work with Coldplay and Fear Factory, the double album is primarily written and produced by founding bassist Andy Koehler.
