Bride to release a Double Dose of Fire: Vipers and Shadows

By Seth Metoyer, The Metal Onslaught –

I’ve been a Bride fan since the beginning—since the days when their razor-sharp riffs and Dale’s wail could shake the heavens and rattle the underworld. I even had the honor of designing the layout for Fist Full of Bees back in the early 2000s when they were on Absolute Records. That album was a wild mix of old-school grit and nu-metal energy, and it still holds up today. So when Troy Thompson announces that Bride is dropping Vipers and Shadows—a double CD stacked with 20 new songs—you better believe I’m paying attention.

This one’s self-released, which means it’s straight from the source—pure, unfiltered Bride, just how it should be. The album artwork for Vipers and Shadows was designed by Rafael Taveres, and judging by the name alone, it sounds like it’s going to bring some serious bite.

Pre-orders are live now, with six different options, including one where you can get your name in the credits as a sponsor. They’ve got digital options (hopefully they will release to streaming and digital sites as well), but if you’re a die-hard physical collector, there’s even an international option for CDs this time.

And if that wasn’t enough, Lost Reels IV—an EP of demo tracks that didn’t make Vipers and Shadows—is dropping this summer.

So, if you’re a longtime fan or just someone who appreciates heavy music with conviction, this is one to jump on. Pre-order now at bridepub.com before they’re gone.
