Progressive Norwegian metal band Extol last released a self-titled final album in 2013 through Facedown Records. However, since then the members have been busy working on their own solo projects and bands, most notably Flesh Killer, Flood, Ole Børud and Hrada.
With an announcement in January of this year Extol announced their involvement with Furnace Fest 2023 on September 22nd-24th at Sloss Furnaces of Birmingham, Alabama – but without original vocalist Peter Espevoll, who will be replaced by Flesh Killer vocalist Elisha Mullins.
On a Facebook post on their official page, the group were giving a brief history of their humble beginnings, through Rowe Productions and Steve Rowe of Australia’s Mortification, as this year 2023 marks the 30th anniversary of the formation of Extol, in which the band have officially shared a rumor that the members of Extol are meeting in the studio…..
