With the hiatus of all-girl ‘beautycore’ band G.F.M., lead singer and bassist Maggie – also known as the solo artist Magdalene Rose – has risen beyond her wildest dreams with her signing to major label RockFest Records last year, which is also home to the commercially successful rock/metal band Seventh Day Slumber and supergroup World Gone Cold.
With her debut single “Shark Spray”, which was released three months ago, has received amazing feedback and reviews, with over 250,000 views on YouTube, and over 69,000 listens on Spotify…this gives us a feeling that the best is yet to come for this young woman barely out of her teens. Magdalene has also shared recent tours with Seventh Day Slumber, Fozzy and P.O.D.
Rockfest Records has revealed that a brand new follow-up single from Magdalene Rose entitled “A Bad Residential”, featuring Spencer Chamberlain of Underoath will see the light on August 25th, 2023.
