Its always very exciting to hear of a band signing to a label that holds much respect. Especially when that band comes from your current location, somewhat local, which is always a treat to come across from the scene that was once rampant in Southern California.
As we have mentioned before, the genre of deathcore is taking a hold straight across the extreme hard music scene, mainly for as I put it, the “younger generation!!!”. Definitely not a bad thing, as I grew up in the days when the popularity of glam metal was on the decline and thrash, death and black metal was becoming big, not to mention the whole grunge rage, which all took place in the early to mid-nineties.
Anywho, deathcore outfit UnWorthy, hailing from Riverside, California have just announced their signing with Texan metal label Rottweiler Records. They are joining some of the most exciting, upcoming, and polished bands in a vast array of artists including Brotality, Final Surrender, Broken Flesh, Voluntary Mortification and The Jericho Harlot.
New music from the band is coming soon.
