Industrial metal and related music of that nature peaked in mainstream popularity back in the early to mid nineties with Ministry, Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson and Rammstein. And of course, the sound soon broke into the Christian music market with the likes of Rackets & Drapes, Mortal, Circle Of Dust and of course the 1992 release Brutal Reality by Generation.
The Californian band Klank however, has been there almost from the start since its conception in 1993, and boasts an EP and seven full-length albums to show for their fruits of labour and toils.
Mastermind Daren “Klank” Diolosa has achieved longevity which for that particular genre and especially from a faith aspect can be a tough ask for anyone, but Mr. Diolosa has delivered the goods time and time again.
Since the release of the album Between Unholy and Divine, Vol. 1 (2022) through The Charon Collective, (which as a label has been a breath of fresh air for seasoned musicians), Klank has been hard at work creating the next installment of that series and are about to finish Between Unholy and Divine, Vol. 2, which is almost ready for release, however no date has been given yet at the time of this article. Stay Tuned…….
