It isn’t every day that you get a band blasting in your face and on the scene so quickly and to the point. Hope Deferred are a death metal band, coming out of Burleson, Texas; with former Embodyment members Andrew Godwin (guitars & vocals) and Jason Lindquist (bass) plus Jon Tooley on lead guitars, drum/synth programming & engineering.
They already have released their two-song Demo through their new label The Charon Collective via music media outlet Bandcamp. Don’t let the demo fool you, the high intensity and brutality shown by these guys, just prove the talents and experience that has been learned through their dealings with Embodyment and Solid State Records.
The band have just recently released their brand new cover single “Breathing Murder” taken from Living Sacrifice and their monster 1994 release Inhabit. They created their own style with the ever popular song and made it their own, featuring Shane Blay from Oh, Sleeper with guest vocals. Living Sacrifice have been an influence to many bands over the years especially in the metal and deathcore scenes. Sit back and enjoy this new rise in metal.
