There has been a lot of changes and forward motions happening through the lives of Chaz Bond and his hybrid metal band Biogenesis in Dayton, Ohio. With the sudden complete loss of all band members in 2019 since their 2018 E.P. Black Widow, the members went on to form another metal band called After Winter.
Since then Chaz decided not to quit the project and to move forward with his vision which began back in 1996, which required the inclusions of original bassist Randy Walton from the first two albums, local product Andy Hall on drums and the man of many bands Tiago de Souza on guitar.
Briefly Deliverance bass master Manny Morales was involved with the band, but had to step down recently due to a personal hectic schedule.
The quartet have been working on their brand new album Rise Of The Phoenix which may yet see a 2020 release on Roxx Records. The record was scheduled for a summertime date, but it looks like that they will push the date forward.
Chaz in the meantime has announced that chapter four of the album is almost complete entitled “Breath Forgotten” which will be featured on the new record.
