Progressive metal is becoming as vast as it has been good as of late with bands that kick our tail with no remorse, and the band S91 is no stranger to this craft of kicking tail. Hailing from Tuscany, Italy, S91 have been toiling away on a brand new full-length album, since their last release through Italian metal label Underground Symphony with Behold The Mankind, back in 2016.
Their brand new album entitled Along The Sacred Path is scheduled for worldwide release on the 22nd March 2019 with Rockshots Records, and that will mark ten years and a few label changes since their very first ever EP release Sto Per Tornare, that was given to us by Morning Star Distribution.
The song “Constantine The Great” is their first single that has been released as a lyric video. And it reveals the progressiveness of the band, which is moving more towards an avant-garde direction, bringing such a creative element that builds away from their more symphonic power metal beginnings, in the vein of bands like Nightwish, Epica and Within Temptation, but yet still having that roundness of sound and edge about them.
