Hailing from Phoenix, Arizona, USA – Children Of Wrath is a very powerful band who labels themselves as “blackened, symphonic, melodic, holy death metal”.
The album kicks off with an eerie instrumental titled “The Legacy Of Man” that creates imagery of world destruction. The album then progresses into the brutal track “The Words”, delivering blistering guttural vocals and melodic epicness.
The top 3 tracks that stand out to me, include: “Seven Plagues”, “The Degenerate City”, and “By Fire And Sword”. Luke Dinan does all of the instruments and vocals, and is very gifted as a musician and songwriter.
If you are seeking a Christian alternative to bands such as Cradle of Filth, Dimmu Borgir, Satyricon, SepticFlesh, and Opeth – then I highly recommend Children Of Wrath!
