Its’s been six years since Pennsylvanian gospel-driven theatrical power metal band Sardonyx returned with their independently released second full-length record Sons Of The Kingdom (2018). Before that, their offerings consisted of the EP Linear Progression (2005) and a debut entitled Majestic Serenity in 1992.
Things seemed to possibly be over for the band, then vocalist Tom Denlinger announced a return with the brand new third album called Anthems Of Warfare, which will be scheduled for release by years’ end. Its debut single “The Song of the Levites”, just dropped earlier this month of November on the website https://lightshineministries.com/ and is also included on all streaming services. The second single for the upcoming record will be released everywhere on November 15th entitled “Mighty Warrior”.
This third installment will still feature founding members: Tom Denlinger on vocals, Rod Feltman on lead guitars, and bassist Chuck Turner. The project will also feature other unrevealed musical contributors, throughout the ongoing waterfall effect release.
Tom has also been busy working over this past year with the founding member of Christian Metalheads International (CMI) Henrik Larsson, on his effort The Passion Project (Metal Opera) via his label DHA Records. The Passion Project also includes Les Carlsen (Bloodgood), Niclas Buss (Hilasterion) and Ville Herranen (Inborn Tendency).
