What a ride for solo artist Randy Rose, who is also known for his band Mad At The World with his brother Roger Rose. Only just over the last few days they have hit the target on their latest Kickstarter crowdfund for their upcoming second part of a planned trilogy. This will be a full-length album called Love and Despair, and is scheduled to release sometime near year’s end.
However, even though the news of this is exciting for many of us, the year becomes even brighter for Randy, as Illinois-based label and online store Boone’s Overstock has revealed that his first two doom solo records Sacrificium (1991) and The Healing (1993), will be re-issued and ready for pre-orders on April 4th at 7pm (CST), with the CD ready to ship soon after, and also on limited vinyl, which will not be available until May 21st.
