Ever since Swedish progressive doom metal band Veni Domine announced their reunion show at Bobfest XXV – which went on earlier this month in Dynamo, Norrköping, Sweden – the band have been open to the possibilities for what may transpire, after their first time together since the group’s initial break-up in 2014.
Their epic debut full-length Fall Babylon Fall (1992) and second coming Material Sanctuary (1994) fell upon us 30 or so years ago. Their music introduced a new sound to listeners that created a strong and unique fanbase, which has stood the test of time in the ever-evolving metal scene.
Fall Babylon Fall was voted #38 of the 100 top Christian metal albums of all time by HM Magazine in 2010, and even I myself rank it in my top 10 for sure.
The band have announced earlier this week that their first two releases will finally be available in vinyl format later this year through Melodic Passion Records, which is headed up by Narnia frontman Christian Liljegren.
Both albums will also be re-released on CD and digitally. Pre-orders are now available.
