Who can argue against the notion that Christmas is celebrated in July? Stryper, the trailblazers of faith-based metal who first rose to fame across the country in the early to mid-1980s, have made a significant impact on both the secular and Christian music landscapes. They are currently gearing up to unveil their newest single, “Still The Light,” which will be featured on their upcoming, yet-to-be-titled Christmas album scheduled for release later this year.
Presently on tour in South America with other prominent bands in the faith-oriented heavy music genre, such as Narnia and Bride, the band is moving forward despite recent developments concerning the health challenges of a close family member and the ongoing health issues faced by founding guitarist Oz Fox prior to the tour’s commencement. Musician Howie Simon (Jeff Scott Soto) is once again filling in for Oz, as he has previously done.
Please remember to keep the band in your prayers as they strive to fulfill God’s purpose in their lives and careers.
