It has been several years since the Finnish black metal band Parakletos last captured public attention in 2019 with their EP Opera Ab Aeterno I.
Unknown to us, this release was actually the first of four parts that make up the complete Opera Ab Aeterno, which was finally released in full this past Friday, July 26th. The album includes the singles “Satans Fall” and “Människans Fall: Del 1” and is exclusively available in digital format for download on the band’s Bandcamp page, as well as for streaming on all platforms.
In other news, guitarist Niclas Buss from the band has been diligently working both instrumentally and in the studio alongside Henrik Larrson on The Passion Project. This project is described as a metal opera with an Eternity perspective, showcasing prominent faith-based rock and metal artists such as Les Carlsen (Bloodgood) and Tom Denlinger (Sardonyx). The project has now signed with the Mexican label Old Skull Records, and it is scheduled for release in January 2026.
