Swedish power metal veterans NARNIA are back in the studio, kicking off the recording process for their tenth full-length album. With a legacy spanning over 25 years, including three acclaimed studio albums, a live recording straight from the heart of Brazil, and a killer compilation summing up their journey, NARNIA shows no signs of slowing down.
This new chapter introduces drummer Anders Köllerfors, who made his live debut with the band at Sweden Rock Festival in 2022. Now, he’s laying down the foundation for what promises to be another powerhouse release.
“We’re fired up and ready to roll!” says frontman Christian Liljegren. “Interest in NARNIA is growing stronger, and we’re beyond grateful to keep this journey alive. We’re a tight unit—everyone plays their part to make this band what it is. Stepping into the studio with that energy and chemistry makes this moment feel even more electric.”
Longtime guitarist and co-founder CJ Grimmark is taking the reins as producer, ensuring the album captures the band’s signature blend of soaring melodies, razor-sharp riffs, and anthemic choruses. The yet-to-be-titled record is set for a 2025 release, and if their track record is anything to go by, expect nothing short of epic.
