Swedish metal band Leviticus are one of the founding faith-based metal bands that began in 1981, started by guitarist Bjorn Stigsson, and have been a staple of the scene throughout the ’80s in a genre that ultimately never saw much impact until the early to mid-’90s.
After three original full-length albums, an EP, and a “best of” compilation covering those previous releases, the group has now announced their first maxi-EP entitled MMXXIV on vinyl and CD. It is scheduled to drop on October 25th of this year, and is their latest endeavor since their last full-length release Knights of Heaven (1989).
