It’s quite a while since Mexican deathcore band My Place Was Taken has recorded anything since their second EP Imparables (2018) which was also their first release on label Rottweiler Records. It doesn’t feel like it’s been a long time since we reviewed their EP – however, six years is a rather dry run for any current and active metal band.
Well, the time has come for that wait to almost be over now as the quartet are about to head into the studio with Joshua Lopez at Widowmaker Studios in McAllen, Texas. Joshua is currently and has previously worked alongside artists such as Possessed, Immortal Guardian and Kryptik Mutation.
