When former The Crucified guitarist Greg Minier released his one and only album Meaning (1992) with solo project Applehead, we thought we heard the end of the story.
Then in 2022, the Los Angeles CA based metal label Roxx Records released a 30th anniversary edition of the album with Greg adding bass lines which weren’t included in the original recordings.
With the success of the new and improved take on that release, Greg Minier then teamed up with fellow musician Jaymi Millard (Mark Slaughter Band), for a brand new Applehead album The Light Side Of The Apple, which dropped in September of last year, and saw many great reviews across the scene, showing how Greg still has got what it takes to create some memorable tunes, after a 31 year hiatus from the project.
And yet again…. the apple hits back with a brand new single “No More Words” which dropped last Friday.
Be sure to check them out live if you have a chance, as the group are currently working on booking some gigs.
