When in comes to faith-based Christian thrash metal, many of us immediately think of one of the pioneering founding groups, Southern California’s Vengeance Rising which began back in 1987.
To be honest I’m not going to go through the whole history of the band, especially when it concerns their former vocalist Roger Martinez, however founding bassist Roger Dale Martin has just announced that the group’s debut full-length album Human Sacrifice (1988) will receive an anniversary tribute to celebrate 35 years since they dropped the record which Doug Van Pelt from Heaven’s Metal Magazine described as “the most radical Christian album ever released”.
