When it comes to constantly hard working artists, the solo outfit Hard Look, steered by Christopher Johnson from Fort Worth, Texas, has never showed any signs of slowing down since his establishment during the pandemic in 2020.
Hard Look are described as a mixture of deathcore/industrial and metal, which seems to be something that is coming of age with current artists, going into heavy music. Chris is no stranger to advancing forward throughout the whole songwriting process and continuing to grow as time wears on.
The band have announced the release of their brand new single “Rolandskvadet” which is completely sung in Norwegian. The follow up to their full length Echoes from a Fallen World last April, the sound itself is different and trying to convey a more traditional Nordic perspective, especially with a Viking and medieval theme of old, the warriors on the seas seeking to conquer whoever was in their way.
