Solo artist Cullen Toner, known as “Tomrair”, who was previously associated with the Dutch black metal band Slechtvalk from 2021 to 2024, has been quite vocal over the past year.

He has produced two full-length albums through his ongoing solo endeavor, Dawnbreaker, which has been active since 2018, as well as his new old-school death metal side project, Wailing. This project features Shawn Eldridge, the former drummer of the New Jersey death metal bands Disma and Funebrarum, taking the lead.

Dawnbreaker’s latest album, Pactum Sanguine Novo, along with Wailing’s debut Oracles of Devastation, is scheduled for digital and physical release on January 2, 2026. Physical CDs have already been dispatched today for pre-orders made earlier this year, thanks to their long-standing partnership with Tomrair’s Christian Metal Underground Records and Vision Of God Records.
