I must highlight Reign of Glory, one of the most notable bands to emerge in recent years that features exceptional artists such as Roger Dale Martin (Vengeance, Die Happy), Nick Layton (FireWolfe, Q5), Jim Chaffin (The Crucified, Deliverance, The Blamed), and vocalist Robyn Kyle Basauri (Die Happy, Red Sea). Their rise to prominence began with the release of their debut album, All Will Bow (2022), under Roxx Records.
In recent years, the group has undergone several changes, notably the exit of drummer Jim Chaffin and the subsequent inclusion of Jeffrey A. McCormack from the Les Carlsen Band. Furthermore, vocalists Luke Easter from Tourniquet and Steve Braun, associated with Halo Theory and Halcyon Way, have filled the front man spot, respectively during the band’s last two live shows.
Recently, vocalist Mark Boals (Yngwie Malmsteen, Ring Of Fire) joined the band in a remarkable manner late last year, and with the group unveiling the title and artwork for their upcoming album, Slingshot, which is set to be released this July through Roxx Records.
The band is scheduled to perform again at this year’s Immortal Fest in Versailles, Ohio, where they will showcase new tracks including “Too Close to Midnight,” “More Than a Memory,” and the title track “Slingshot of Faith” from the forthcoming album.
